No Brainer team is celebrating again after being shortlisted for two major industry awards at the prestigious PRmoment North Awards.

We’ve made the final two in the ‘New Agency of the Year’ category and we’re also competing with seven other agencies for ‘Low Budget Campaign of the Year’ for our use of a mystery plague doctor character – which generated regional, national and international news coverage – to launch the new Chester ‘Sick to Death’ visitor attraction.

We worked alongside Chester heritage and archaeology company, Big Heritage, to generate sightings of the mystery hooded figure, causing a social media storm and leading to headlines in broadcast and online channels.

The PRmoment awards

The awards are one of the PR and communications industry’s most coveted and, although less than two years old, No Brainer will go up against a number of established PR and marketing agencies based across the north of England.

PRmoment judges have sifted through more than 850 entries and this year’s northern regional winners will be crowned at a red carpet ceremony at Manchester’s Hilton Deansgate hotel on March 16 this year.

“We’re proud to be representing Warrington’s creative sector at this year’s PRmoment Awards and we’re all delighted that No Brainer is being recognised alongside some incredibly strong agency competition from across the north of England,” said No Brainer director and co-founder Gary Jenkins.

“We’ve set out to become Cheshire’s number one PR and communications agency and the first name big businesses and SMEs in the region think of when it comes to sharing their stories through PR, social media and online content. We’ve built something special so far, but we’re keen to continue our momentum throughout 2017 and beyond.”

It’s fair to say that PR isn’t easy to define.
